Damian (or Demian) Golsman is one of the patients of the Oswald Asylum who appears to firmly believe that he is a king. The shadow sitting next to Damian alludes to the possibility that he was sexually abused by a preacher or priest of sorts, and that his mother doesn't believe him. This is possibly why he has been committed to the asylum but as his patient file cannot be found in game it cannot be said for certain. However, his firm belief that he is of royal status could be evidence of grandiose delusions, which is linked to manic states of Bipolar Disorder.
At first, Damian is very standoffish, stating that he's eating and telling Fran to go away. However, upon initiating a conversation with him and going along with the fact that he's the king, he is shown to be quite well-mannered and reasonable. He also has a playful streak, claiming to be a king and referring to his walking cane as a sword.
Appearance[]
Damian has blonde hair in a bowl cut, blue eyes, and pale skin. Like Adelaida Fugents and Philmore Bronston he wears blue Pj's, though his pants, unlike Adelaida's, are simply sky blue and do not have polka dots yet are not identical to Philmore's either. However, the pajamas are all the same just with slight variants, this may indicate that they are regulated at the asylum. In addition to this Damian is barefooted like most other children in the asylum.
Involvement[]
Damian owns the walking cane necessary for making the Grab-O-Matic 2000. Fran can ask him for it, and he will state that he will give it to her in exchange for "a castle and a horse". By combining the white paper from Robert Clark and the green crayon from Adelaida Fugents, Fran can make a drawing of a castle and a horse. Damian will enthusiastically accept this drawing in exchange for his walking cane.

It's unknown if Damian needs a cane, or just likes to carry it around.
Damian seems to be good friends with Annie, as she is often in the kitchen with him.
When talking to Damian's shadow under the effects of Duotine, it will say "That holy man took all your clothes off." This suggests that Damian was sexually assaulted by a priest. The shadow goes on to say "Your mommy doesn't believe you" which is self-explanatory.
